Hubert C. "H.C." Corum age 89 of Corryton, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. He was a devoted and life-long member of Clapp's Chapel United Methodist Church in his home of Corryton. H. C. was proud of his military service in the U. S. Army's armored infantry and airborne divisions, serving from 1960-1962 during the Bay of Pigs Crisis and Berlin Blockade. He was retired from Ennis Business Forms as the Printing Supervisor after 48 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Nellie and Hubert Corum, brother, Edgar Corum, and nephew, Darren Howard. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Mary Faye Corum; sons, Barry (Sonya) and Brad (Nicci); his loving grandchildren: Ethan Corum, Allie Lott (Zachary), Lindsay Corum, and great-grandchildren: Elijah and Ezra Lott; sister, Wanda (Jerry) Howard; H. C. has multiple sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Rev. Brad Griffey officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2025 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. committal service with full military honors provided by the East Tennessee State Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Ethan Corum, Zachary Lott, Brian Owen, Sherril Greene, Ted Greene, and Wynn Greene. Honorary Pallbearers: Woody Miller, Michael Kitts, and Jerry Howard.
