Hubert Austin Nicely

Hubert Austin Nicely, age 94, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, after a brief illness. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence & Minerva Nicely, son, Stevie Nicely, brothers & sisters, Lucille Bailey, Anna Lou Dyer, C. R. Nicely, and great-grandson, Hunter Cole Richard. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 66 years, Gracie Nicely; daughter & son-in-law, Cathy & Donnie Wolfenbarger; daughter-in-law, Betty Sue Nicely; special sister-in-law, Gloria Jean Dyer; sister, Christine Harrell; grandchildren, Amanda Nicely Lovin, Nicole Nicely, Alicia Nicely, Stacey Wolfenbarger Clay, Adam Wolfenbarger, and Renee Dyer Hubbard; several great -grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a service to follow officiated by Rev. Richard Nicley. The family will meet at Boruff Cemetery in Union County, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, for a 2:00 pm graveside service with full military honors provided by Tri-County Honor Guard. Serving as pallbearers: Adam Wolfenbarger, Christian Pressley, Xander Lovin, Randy Dyer, Randy Brown, and Larry Dyer and honorary pallbear, Sammy Dyer.
