Howard E. Welch

Howard E. Welch age 79, of Halls, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 7, 2024, at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Unes and Gladys Welch, brothers: Dennis, Albert, Bud and Gleason; and sisters: Myrtle Coker, Maxine Miller, Welmia Kitts, Christine Hensley and Eula Mae Welch; He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Howard Welch, son, Scottie and Maria, adored grandchildren, Troy and Traci, brothers, Carlos and Archie, devoted sister, Lula Ellison, who was by our side all thru his illness, and special nephew, Gary and Dale Welch. A special thank you to Charlie and Pam Tindell and Jerry and Wilma Haney for their kindness. We wish to thank Smoky Mountain Hospice, especially BB and Britney for their love and kindness and help thru out. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel.
