Howard James "Shorty" Wilson

Howard James “Shorty” Wilson, Sr., age 66 of Knoxville met Jesus on September 22, 2013. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church Fountain City. He was the last living son of Everette & Edith Wilson who preceded him in death along with five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his daughter and caretaker, Sheila (Don) Bradley, daughter Janet (Bill) Ingle, son James Wilson Jr., ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister Flora Houser and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 5201 Kingston Pk. Suite 6-130, Knoxville, Tn. 37919. Funeral services 7 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Preacher Charles Lawson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at 10 AM Wednesday and proceed to Highland South Cemetery for a graveside service at 11 AM. Grandsons and nephews to serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
