Howard Cain

Howard Cain, 89, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. He was a member of Central Church of God.

He was born on January 8, 1936, to the late Sherman and Josephine Cain. He was also preceded in death by his brother Raymond Cain and a great-grandson, Carter Headrick.

Howard is survived by his wife of 69 years, Margaret "Loretta" Cain; children, Howard Richard Cain (Robin), Timothy Allen Cain (Dea), and Stephanie Renee Headrick (Kyler); grandchildren, Kylie Morgan Cain (Sam Scott) and Megan Ashley Cain; great-grandchildren, Kamden Headrick and Korbin Headrick; loving brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, along with many friends and church family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. 

A funeral service will follow with Pastor James Dunn officiating. A private interment will be held at Lynnhurst Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Timothy Cain, Allen Cox, Kyler Headrick, Kamden Headrick, Sam Scott, and John Geissbergerg. Honorary Pallbearer: Korbin Headrick.
