Horace B. "Monty" Corum

Horace B. “Monty” Corum, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. He was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. He retired from the Grainger County Sheriffs Department after 14 years of service. Preceded in death by father, Horace Corum, Jr.; mother, Evelyn Parker Corum-Dishmon. He is survived by his wife, Christina Scott-Corum; children, Scott Corum (Mindy), Steven Machuga, Charlotte Machuga and Trudy Weaver; grandchildren, Caleb, Connor and Nicole Machuga; brothers, Donnie Corum (Cindy) and Robert Corum; pet, Bentley. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 10:45am for a 11:00am graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Tindell officiating.
