Harriet Fagin Lucas

Harriet Fagin Lucas age 87, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, September 29, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Harriet’s life was defined by her unwavering love for family. Nothing brought her more joy than the laughter and presence of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life. Harriet leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will continue to guide her family for generations. Her warm heart and gentle spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, but her memory will live on in the countless lives she shaped and the many smiles she inspired.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lucas, son Errol “Keith” Lucas. Survived by her loving children, Jerry Lucas Jr., Tyra Spears (James IV). Beloved grandchildren: Trey Lucas, Haley McMahon, Laura Lucas, Austin Lucas, Keith Lucas, Dayna Lucas, James Spears V (Savanna), Baylor Spears, Patrick Spears, Shelby Spears, Kathryn Spears, & Andrew Spears; Great grandchildren: Marlee Kate McMahon, Saige McMahon, Banks Lucas, Madison Minyard and Kelley Cox; & great great granddaughter Ellie Minyard, and special daughters-in-Law Camella Lucas, Sharon Lucas and Brooke Lucas.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a 1:00 pm funeral service. Following the service family and friends will travel in procession to Skaggs Cemetery for a graveside service. Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Lucas, Trey Lucas, James Spears V, Patrick Spears, Andrew Spears and Keith Lucas.
