Gregory Alan Wright, age 56, of Halls, TN, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at University of Tennessee Medical Center. Greg died from complications from his muscular dystrophy. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ronald Wright. He is survived by his son, Matthew Wright; mother, Clara Imogene Coker Wright; and sister, Kristie Wright. Greg was a beloved son, brother, and father.
The family will not hold services, instead Greg’s wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes spread in a stream.
Greg loved cats! In lieu flowers donations may be made to any local animal shelter in Greg's memory.
