Grady Lett

Grady Lett age 79 of Corryton passed away peacefully 2:38 am Sunday, January 1, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Survivors: wife of 53 years, Polly Lett; son, Bruce Lett, Daughter, Lisa Womble (Stacy). Grandchildren, Abbey Lett, Amanda Ray (Kevan), Austin Womble (Laly). Sister, Faye Haney, brothers; Ray (Elsie) Lett and Richard Lett. Several nieces and nephews, a host of friends and neighbors. Member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Corryton Masonic Lodge #321 F & AM. Grady also belonged to several Antique tractor clubs, and he enjoyed restoring and showing his Antique tractors and collecting Antique toys. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Also a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice. The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Rev. Tim Inklebarger and Rev. Charlie Tindell officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel to leave in procession for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers: Larry Daugherty, Mike Cardin, Austin Womble, Charlie Wright, Dave Wright and Paul Haynes. Honorary Pallbearers: Marvin Boruff, Ashley Morton, and B. J. Blakenship.
