Grace Elizabeth Ellis

Grace Elizabeth Ellis, age 82, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. She was a devoted sewer & embroiderer. She served the Lord faithfully, teaching children God’s Word for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Clyde Ellis; parents, Leon and Ruth Steward; grandson, Randall Lee Ellis; sister, Joan Hurst; and brothers, Joseph and John Steward. She is survived by her sons, David (Hope) Ellis, Ronnie (Faye) Ellis, Bruce (Michelle) Ellis; sister, Janet Blanton; grandchildren, Bill (Kristin) Ellis, Emily Ellis, Bethany (Wyatt) Humphries, Brandy Ellis; great grandchildren, Zachary (Chelsey) Ellis, Austin Ellis, Nicholas Ellis, Payton Ellis; great-great grandchildren, Raelynn Ellis, Ember Ellis, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 29th, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with a funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Rebecca Milligan and Pastor Bill Ellis officiating.
