Glen Howard Stooksbury

Glen Howard Stooksbury, was born on November 5, 1931, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 in Halls. He retired from Dempster Brothers as a welder. He was of the Baptist Faith and served in the United States Air Force. 

He is survived his loving sons, Stanley (Paula) Stooksbury and Michael Stooksbury. Glen was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Picquet. He is also survived by his grandson, Josh (Christina) Picquet of Knoxville; granddaughters Jerra (Corey) White of Peachtree City, GA. and Amber Stooksbury of Powell; as well as his great-grandchildren Amelia Picquet of Knoxville, William White, and Emily White.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, June 13th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM. Glen will be laid to rest at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway on Monday, June 24th at 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Adult Home of Knoxville, TN in honor of Glen Stooksbury.
