Glen Edward Line, Sr (Buddy), age 82, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at UT Medical Center. He served the United States Army and Army National Guard from 1964 - 1988. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Line, of 54 years; brother, Tommy Line & wife Cricket; sister, Carolyn Covington; his son, Glen Line Jr; daughters, Angela Kemp and Shannon Higginbotham & husband Keith; grandsons: Elijah Harris, Isaiah Harris, Glen Line lll, Thomas, Christopher Bailey; granddaughters, Kyla Harris and Shawna Bailey; great-grandson, Malik Blackman; and great-granddaughter, Lilly Luna Line, along with many nieces and nephews.
Isaiah 41:10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
Family and friends will meet at 1:45pm on Monday, January 5, 2026, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, for a 2:00pm graveside service. Online condolences may be left at mynattfh.com
