Ginger Rhodes Davis

Ginger Rhodes Davis age 71, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2026. She was a faithful member of Sharon Baptist Church. Ginger was a graduate of Halls High School class of 1973. She was employed fulltime with Tennova Medical Center and parttime with UT Medical Center, where she worked in the Tumor Registry Department for both. She was hard worker, but still found time to be a caregiver too many. In her spare time, she loved to gamble, and her skills always had impressive money returns. Ginger was also an avid UT fan, especially football. More than anything she was a loving and devoted daughter and mother.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, H. Floyd and Rosalee Rhodes; maternal grandparents, Thomas, Sr. and Rosalyn Baley; and paternal grandmother, Cordie Rhodes.

Ginger is survived by her son, whom she adored, Dustin Davis; uncle, Bob Rhodes; special cousin, Patricia Rimmer who was more like a sister to her; and special friends, EmmaDean West, Janet Penn and Angel Miley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 PM Graveside service officiated by Pastor Mark McCoig.
