Gerald (Jerry) Breeden of Knoxville, we home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Parkwest Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; parents, Sid and Irene; sister, Pennie; brothers, Tony, Kenny and Danny. He is survived by brothers, Junior and Steve; sisters, Nancy (Pat) Collins, Susie Webber and Linda (Jeff) Napier; several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was a longtime employee of Ideal Cement Plant where he served as Teamster Leader for several years. He was also a proud Veteran that served in the Marine Corps. The family would like to extend a special "Thank you" to the Ben Atchley Veterans Nursing Home for all the Love and Care they gave Jerry during his stay there.
The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel 2829 Rennoc Road Knoxville, TN 37918 followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Pastor Cody Wright officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel to leave in procession for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service at Roseberry Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
