Georgia Elizabeth Farr

Georgia Elizabeth Farr age 90, of Strawberry Plains passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026.  She was a longtime member of Northside Christian Church where she participated in numerous church activities.  She retired from the University of Tennessee from the Alumni Affairs office and the Handy Dandy Market at Cherry Street and Cecil.  She loved to Square Dance, go camping and was always busy doing something.  Preceded in death by husband of 71 years, John Farr; son, Benny Farr; grandson, Luke Farr; and parents, George and Bessie Robertson.  Survivors; sons, Howard McKinley (Sharon) Farr and John Mark (Rene) Farr; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Northside Christian Church 4008 Tazewell Pike Knoxville, TN 37918 followed by a 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service, Rev.
