George Richard Holcombe

George Richard Holcombe of Maynardville, born February 6, 1947, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 25, 2021. George was a veteran of the United States Army. He is preceded in death by parents; Richard and Helen Holcombe. He is survived by his loving wife; Brenda Holcombe, children; Christopher Marsh, Mary Catherine Marsh, and Michael Marsh, and best friend; Steve Bales. Family will receive friends Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, service to follow at 7:00pm, officiated by Mark Kilbourne. Family and friends will meet Friday, December 31, 2021 at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery, 725 Asbury Road, Candler NC, 28715, at 12:45pm for a 1:00pm Graveside service, officiated by Michael Kurtz.
