Geneva Ann Burchfield

Geneva Ann (Russell) Burchfield age 76, of Halls Crossroads, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devout member of Central Church of God. Geneva enjoyed her family, friends, and going to church.

Preceded in death by son, Dale Burchfield, parents, Anna Mae and Clifford Russell; sisters, Ruth Lay and Wanda Kennedy; brothers, J.C. Russell, Ray Russell, Charlie Russell, Paul Russell, Carey Russell, and Bob Russell.

Survived by husband of 59 years, Charles Burchfield Sr.; children, Pamela (Mike) Cummings, Charles Burchfield Jr., and Angela Burchfield Foster; precious grandson, Landon Todd Foster; very special niece and loved very much, Janice Kennedy Starns, she also leaves behind several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Amanda Smith and Hope Nevius (Emily, Josh, Halen, Destinee, Kinzleigh and Cruze); stepdaughter, Krista Cummings, brother, Freddie Russell, and sister, Carolyn (Stanley) Kasior.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a service to follow at 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Officiating the service, Rev. James Dunn and guest speaker, Jerry Kennedy and music by Scott Allen. On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel at 10:30am for a procession to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside.
