Gary Eugene Mckinney

Gary Eugene McKinney, age 65 of Knoxville, was reunited with his children May 13, 2021. He was a doting grandfather; his grandchildren were his life. Gary was Mr.-Fix-It, quick witted, very helpful and always there when needed, a caring father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by his daughter Rachel, son Joshua, mother and father Donald and Delores McKinney, mother and father-in-law Loena and Bill Maples, brother David, and sister LouAnn. He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years Stacey McKinney, children; Amanda (Charlie) Riddle, Brian McKinney, Christy (Chris) King, Randy McKinney, Melissa (Michael) Smith, 23 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers Clayton (Tina) McKinney, and Butch McKinney, favorite son-in-law Paul Moyers, as well as many other beloved family members. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, May 17, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00 pm, Paul Moyers officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 pm Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel to proceed to Ft. Sumter Community Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment.
