Garland Taylor

Garland Ray "Junior" Taylor, age 56, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on May 30, 2024. He was born on August 9, 1967 in Kingsport, Tennessee. Garland, known as junior, was a hardworking man who dedicated 25 years of his life to his career at DT Refurbishing. Beyond his professional life, he found joy in spending time with his beloved family. 

Garland is preceded in death by his father, Garland Taylor Sr; mother, Freda Ratliff; sister, Tracie Taylor; wife, Angela (Tarpin) Taylor; daughter, Misty Taylor; Grandparents Samuel and Maggie Taylor, Fannie and Ronnie Couch, stepfather Richard Gattis. 

He is survived by his daughters, Leslie Loy (James) of Oakridge, TN, and Amanda Hunt (Jeff) of Knoxville, TN; his sisters Christina Taylor of Knoxville, TN, and Sarah Taylor of Indiana; his grandchildren Cody Loy, Adrian Hunt, Kelsey Hunt, Payton Hunt, and Aubrey Hunt; his niece, Michelle Regan; his nephews, Jacob Osborne, Nick Potter, Dustin McDavid, Brandon Jesse; several aunts, uncles, and friends.
