Gale Richard Engelke

Gale Richard Engelke, age 69 of Powell, TN passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. Gale was a devout Lutheran and a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death his parents, Paul John and Ruby Mae Engelke, and brother, Russel. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Harbin; siblings, Roger Engelke, Sandi Reichling, Milton (Virginia) Engelke, Marvin (Elaine) Engelke, Gary (Eileen) Engelke, and Cindy (Alan) McReynolds; also leaving behind multiple nieces and nephews; his dearly loved dogs, Fletcher and Bandit; and a host of other farm critters. A special thank you to Gale's extended family, Alex and Theresa Joseph, Peggy Laxton and Jeffrey Moser.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel with a service to follow at 1:00 PM. Reverend Mike Harbin will be officiating and music by Tim and Jodi Harbin. An interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Humane Society of Tennessee Valley and Faith -n- Friends.

Pallbearers include Luke Harbin, Isaac Harbin, Alex Joseph, Jeffrey Moser, Tim Harbin, and Perry Harbin.
