Shane Porter

Gailen Shane Porter, age 53, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Shane was a computer enthusiast. He worked with the Maryville K-9 Unit, training dogs for protection and aggression. Shane was a veteran infantryman of the Airborne Forces.

His one true love of his life was his son, Landon.

Preceded in death by stepfather, Don LeCoultre; sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Ronnie Beeler.

Survived by son, Landon Porter; parents, mother, Susan LeCoultre; father, Gailen Porter and stepmother, Melanie Porter; brothers, Matthew (Irene) Porter, Aaron Porter, and Spencer (Kayla) Porter.

Family and Friends will meet Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 1:45 PM for a 2:00 PM graveside service to be held at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy.
