Fred Zedrick Waddell

Fred Z. Waddell Sr., age 87, of Knoxville, passed away August 9, 2016. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Halls Lodge and member of Bethel Baptist Church in Corryton. He was a longtime home builder and contractor. Survivors: sons, Fred Z. Waddell Jr., Kenneth Ray Waddell and Johnny Waddell. Daughter, April D. Marcum. Step-daughter, Karla S. Waddell. Grandchildren: Jonathan Waddell, Chris Waddell, Tim Waddell, Frankie Waddell, Travis Marcum, Tina Waddell, Sherry Waddell and David Waddell. Great-grandchildren, Josh, Archer, Conner, Cara, and Christopher Waddell. Sister, Lucille Moncy. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery by 2:45pm Friday for graveside service, Rev. Larry Woods officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
