Frankie Toppins Huddleston passed away peacefully at her home with loved ones by her side on August 27.
She was a 1961 Halls High graduate. Frankie was a devoted Christian whose life was a testament to love, faith, and selfless service to her family. She loved her family more than anything and was consistently putting their needs and wants above her own. Known for her natural beauty and flawless skin, she earned the well-deserved nickname "Pretty." She created a welcoming home, leaving everyone around her feeling deeply valued and loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Allie Toppins, and her beloved husband, Bud Huddleston.
She is survived by her brother, David (Becca) Toppins; her sons, Terry (Teresa) Huddleston and Jerry (Michelle) Huddleston; and her daughter, Gina (Gary) Smithers. She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her grandchildren: Caitlin (Josh) Gilbreath, Brittany (TJ) Kitts, James Ownby (Meg), CJ Butcher, Emily Sears, Abby Sears, Tyler Huddleston, Hunter Butcher, Braden Huddleston, and Mallory Smithers, as well as several great-grandchildren.
The family extends a special thanks to UT Hospice, especially her compassionate Nurse, Michelle, for her dedicated care and support.
Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 2:45 P.M. on Tuesday, September 1,2026 for a 3:00 P.M. Graveside service officiated by Rev Dean Braden.
