Ethel Rochat Stone

Ethel Rochat Stone, age 101, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at home.  She was a Christian and attended Sand Branch Church.  She was a graduate of Central High School and later worked in Knoxville at the Commercial Branch of Hamilton National Bank for many years.  She was preceded in death by husband of 50 years, Charles A. Stone; also parents Henri C. Rochat and Mellie Rochat Weaver; brothers, Clarence E. Rochat and Arthur F. Rochat; sisters, Louise Rochat Lynch and Rosalie Rochat Smeltzer; also second parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert L Mynatt and their daughter, Helen M. Harris; and a life long family friend, Robert J. Beard.  She is survived by many special nieces and nephews, and friends.  Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (5901 Lyons View Pike) for a 1:00 p.m. committal service, Pastor Denny Ford officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sand Branch Church 2301 Thorngrove Pike Knoxville, TN  37914.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
