Ethel Shrader

Ethel Shrader, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church where she dedicated many hours of service to different ministries to the church and community. Ethel, along with her husband Roy, was named Halls Community Man and Woman of the year for the year 1969. She retired from KUB after many years of service. Ethel was always gracious to open her home to family and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Roy Shrader; great grandson, Noah Shrader. Survived by children, Stan Shrader (Kathy), Sandy Beggs (Tim) and Chuck Shrader (Kathy); 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Liz Cox; brother, David Breeden (Helen) and Kenneth Breeden. Family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 2:00pm until time of funeral service at 4:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Toby Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 10:45am at Greenwood Cemetery for a 11:00am graveside service officiated by Rev. John Holland.
