Ernesto Eliseo Vigil

Ernesto E. Vigil, age 75, of Maynardville, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at North Knoxville Medical Center.

He was an ordained minister who loved preaching the gospel. Ernest was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by parents, Jose and Celia Vigil; grandson, Trevel Jordan; siblings, JR Vigil, Louise Vigil, Rudy Vigil, Conrad Vigil, Vickie Sanchez

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Vigil; children, Kimberly Bouaraour (Bilal), Christina Vigil Garrick Hockett; siblings, Donn Vigil, Pretzy Pacheco, Mary Bryning; grandchildren, Deiondre Teagle, Omari Teagle, Arianna Vigil Alexander Bouaraour; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221, at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to River of Hope Church Mission Fund, 6571 McFall Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918, in his honor.
