Ernest Lee Myers

Ernest Lee Myers, age 61 of Knoxville, TN passed away on March 13, 2026. He was a skilled carpenter who loved building and fixing things with his hands. He cherished his family deeply, and his grandchildren were truly the light of his life and whole world. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping, coon hunting, hiking and spending time with his grandkids. He had a kind and generous heart and was always willing to help anyone he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl R. Myers and Delores Myers, sister, Rita Ellis, and brother Deno Myers. 

He was survived by his wife, Lynnette Myers, children, Ashley, Melissa, Brandon, Michael, Kenzie, Jerry, and Shianne, siblings, Tracy (Spike) Myers, Dodie Myers, Roger Myers, Carl Myers, Nancy Green, Dorena Butler, Penny Chambers, Denise Byrge, and Marsha Butler, grandchildren, Trevor, Mason, Chasity, Caleb, Macie, Corbin, Miley, Trenton, Cameron, Jasmine, Ariebella, and Madison. 

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with procession to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens immediately after for a 2:00pm graveside service officiated by Reverend Ron Mouser. 

Pallbearers are Brandon Myers, Jerry Cadle, Cody Lewis, Michael Myers, Brandon Bryant, and Carl Myers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you make donations to Mynatt Funeral Home to cover funeral expenses.
