Ernest Lee McFall "Ernie"

Ernest Lee McFall “Ernie”, age 72 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2023. He was a member of Loveland Baptist Church and a former member of Hoitt Avenue Baptist Church, where he was saved at a young age. Ernie was a retired Vietnam Airforce veteran and also retired as a mail carrier from the USPS. He was an avid wood worker and carpenter. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by parents Ernest and Reba McFall and step-mother Lennie McFall. Survived by loving wife of 23 years, Janet A. McFall, daughter Melanie (Allen) Helton, step-son Adam (Nick) Hutson, grandchildren Allana Helton and Ty Johnston, special niece and nephew Laura Bland and Cayden Bland, special friends Brian and Donna Woods and family, Kern and Loretta Lowe and family, Kim and Bob Padilla, Lisa Sweetwood, and Bernie Champion, a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Brian Wright officiating. All other services will be held privately.
