Emily Nicole Walker

Emily Nicole Walker, age 39, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026. She had a special passion for animals and caring for them. She had a big heart and was full of love. She was devoted to Jesus and loved her family dearly. She always lit up a room with love and laughter.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Renee Byrd (who passed on Sunday, June 28, 2026); grandparents, Earl and Janis Walker, James and Nancy Snyder; and uncle, Jimmy Snyder.

She is survived by husband, Joey Byrd; and son, Braylon Walker; parents, Steve & Leigh Ann Walker; sisters, Stephanie Walker and Samantha Daniels; favorite niece, Laelah; nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Marleigh, Yasiel, Micah, Kinsley, Aviona, Daejah and William; aunts and uncles, Scott & Sherry Huiting, Tim & Susan Campbell; cousins, Matthew & Mary Bradley, Jason & Jeremy Huiting, Paul & Megan Campbell.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, with a Celebration Of Life Service to follow at 7:00 pm, with Reverend Tony Vick, officiating.
