Ella "Doreen" Helton

Ella "Doreen" Helton, age 61, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

Doreen was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and her dog. She loved helping others by making monthly donations to charities such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Shriner's Charities.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Tommy Young; parents, Bobby Chris and Georgann Chessher; as well as her siblings, Danny Ray Haun, Bobby Chris, Jr., and Renee Lynn Bridges.

She is survived by her sons, Tyler Auer, Joseph (Tabitha) Auer and Ryan Helton; grandson, Cole Auer, as well as 3 other grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins; her dog, Baby Boy.

Friends and family will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery at 1:45 PM on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 for a 2:00 PM graveside service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.
