Elizabeth Cornett, of Knoxville, passed away May 2, 2015 after a long illness. She was of Baptist faith and a child of God. Elizabeth was born August 28, 1924 to John and Lucy Cornett (decreased) also preceded in death by her brothers: James, Hurst, Henry, William and John Cornett along with sister: Mary Ault. Elizabeth's surviving sisters: May Lamb, Dot Bowman, and Ginny Ingram. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM, Tuesday, at Bookwalter Cemetery on Central Ave. Pike for a graveside service at 11:00 AM, with Ancil Hooks officiating.
