In Loving Memory of Elaina Lynn Britt-Foust, March 12, 1969 – October 18, 2026  Elaina Lynn Britt-Foust, known affectionately to her loved ones as “Lynn,” went to join our Heavenly Father on October 18, 2026, at the age of 57 in Knoxville, Tennessee .Lynn was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Clarence Foust; her parents, Elaine Black and Bill Hammond; and her grandmother, Edna Britt. Her memory will forever live on through her children, Eric Foust (Dixie), Elaine Proffitt (Austin), and Cassie Foust; grandchildren, Hunter and Mariah (Eric’s); Ava, Everett, and Logan (Elaine's); and Björn, Violet, and Allison (Cassie’s). She is also survived by her siblings, Michelle Hammond Chewning and James Hammond, along with her aunt, Earline McDowell and many lifelong friends   .Lynn carried a gentle warmth and grounded faith that made everyone around her feel instantly welcomed and loved. If you knew Lynn, you knew how deeply she loved her family and her faith. She lived with a grateful heart, a motherly spirit, and an unapologetic sense of humor. Whether she was cheering on WWE or embarrassing her kids by randomly breaking out into 80s dance moves in public, she lived to make people smile and laugh. Lynn’s home was always full of life. Any excuse for a family meal was a good one, and nothing brought her more joy than cooking a big dinner and having her living room filled with the people she loved most. When she wasn't in the kitchen or crocheting, you could almost always find her on a video call, catching up and laughing with her cherished grandbabies.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Mynatt Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
