Edna Carolyn Carr

Edna Carolyn Carr, age 81 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, after a long battle with COPD. Edna was born in Knoxville and attended Halls High School. She was a wonderful mother who was so loved by her family and many friends. She enjoyed listening to country music, going to senior dances, tending to her beautiful flowers and visiting with friends on her patio. She will be dearly missed. Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Lela and George Maddox; sister, Rachael Headrick; brothers, Bob and Frank Maddox, Frank Carr and Butch. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon, Lisa and Ronda; son, Randy; grandchildren, Mandy, David, Christy, Timothy and Matthew; and many great-grandchildren.
