Earl H. Schady Jr.

Earl H. Schady Jr., age 62, of Maynardville, TN passed away on August 21, 2026. He graduated from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl H. Schady Sr.; grandmother, Cora Neil Rogers and sister, Sharon Wiley. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley V. Schady; daughters, Whitney (Nicky) Elliott and Amanda (Zach) Wood; mother, Letha VanOrman; grandchildren, Kenzie Terry, Macie Terry, Landon Collette, Jayden Jeffers, Braydon Collette, Addilynn Wood, Colson Wood, and Grayson Wood; great-grandchild, Rylee Watson; siblings, Deana Schady, Steven (Tammy) Schady, Athina (Arron) Witt, and his beloved dog, Daphne.

The family would like to make a special acknowledgement to University Cancer Specialist’s Dr. Mosley, Knoxville Dragway’s Wes and Kristin Clapp, Warren Rogers, Bobby Rogers and Debbie Moody.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Knoxville Dragway.

The family would like to say thank you to all the family, friends, and community for all the love, prayers, support, and generosity you have shown for them.

There will be a Memorial service held at the Knoxville Dragway on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 2:00pm. Pastor Nick Hutchison officiating.
