Dr. Jack C. Parrott

Dr. Jack C. Parrott, age 88, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was a Baptist pastor for over 50 years and graduate of Carson Newman, UT, and Lutherice Seminary. He was a member of the Southern Baptist International Mission Board and Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by beloved parents, Rev. W.H. Parrott and Anna Blanch; brother, Harry W. Parrott. Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Betty Parrott; sons, J.C. Parrott (Tiffany), Jon Parrott (Reece); 4 grandchildren, Autumn Blair (Trent), Lauren Gray, Kyendal Wieger (Dylan) and Hunter Parrott; great grandchildren, Lily and Jack. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 5:00pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm at Black Oak Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Garvin Walls officiating. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:45am at Dyllis Church Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service.
