Doyle Edward Wolfenbarger Sr.

Pastor Doyle Wolfenbarger was born March 12, 1939, in Powder Springs. He received his wings at 2:55pm on October 11, 2025. He was a member and pastor of United Missionary Baptist Church since 1998. He was saved October 30, 1983. He will be greatly missed by so many. He loved his family, his church family, and his beloved pets. He baptized many at Big Ridge, as well as Melton Hill Lake.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence C. Wolfenbarger and Irene W. Vineyard; stepdad, Albert Vineyard; and his son, Eddy (Rhonda) Wolfenbarger. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruby Wolfenbarger; his sons, Wes (Regina) Wolfenbarger and Doyle Wolfenbarger Jr. “DJ” (Melinda "Bunny"); along with his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many adopted grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Louis Branch and Rev. Justin Martin officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 12:30 to go in procession to Dyer Cemetery Luttrell TN with Rev. David Wilson officating. Pallbearers: Wayne Manning, Tony Manning, Ken Jr. Manning, Mike Manning, Wes Wolfenbarger, and Michael Tharp. Honorary Pallbearers: Claude Rosenbaum, Benny Summey, Michael Richards, Bob York, Scott Staniford, and Jimmy Staniford.
