Douglas Edward Henderson

Douglas Edward Henderson, age 50 of Knoxville passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was preceded in death by most of his family. He was a devoted caregiver and took care of his disabled wife, Anna. Douglas was a loving father to three children: Travis, Erica and Michael. He was also a grandfather of six grandsons; Ayden, Ty, Griffin, Alex, Aaron and Michael. Douglas also cared for his in-laws, Paul and Marianne Troutman who depended on him. His sister in law, Marie was very appreciative for his help. He also leaves behind one half-brother Jason and his Aunt Wilma. He was a good man. He would give all he had to help anyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a chef by trade having worked at Applebee's. The family would like to thank everyone for their help, support, thoughts and prayers.
