Dorothy Shirley Newman

Dorothy Shirley Hall Newman born February 26, 1947. In Knox County. She was of the Christian faith. She went to Powell High School and graduated in 1965. She was member of the band; she was also in several bowling leagues in her younger years. Dorothy worked for Food Lion. She worked for K-Mart on Broadway for 27 years. She was preceded in death by grandparents Ranson Scott and Vinnie York Scott, C.D. Hall and Almeda Gault Hall. She cared for her dear parents Ray Andrew Hall and Pauline Scott Hall as well as Her dear aunt Edith Scott Strader. Survived by, Her dear husband of 51 years Steven Wayne Newman. Her dear brother who called her everyday to check on her., Gerald Lynn Hall (Peggy). Who cooked and brought her food. Their daughter Tammy Madon (Chris), Who also cooked and visited her. Their children Andrew and Abigail. Nephew, Justin Hall (Amanda) who brought food. Their son’s Ryland and Carson, brother in-law, Sam Newman (Brenda)., Ken Newman.
