Dorothy June Atkins age 84, of Maynardville, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was born on June 21, 1941 to her late parents, Frank and Mary Jane Williams. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Doyle Atkins; son, Claude Alvin Atkins; and all of her siblings.
She is survived by her son, Brian (Leslie) Atkins; grandchildren, Bridget, Brandon, Brayden, Charles and Elizabeth; and great granddaughter, MJ.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Piney Grove Cemetery (Anderson Co.) for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
