Doris Jean Bishop

Doris Jean Bishop, age 78, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at NHC Fort Sanders. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raymond Bishop; parents, Jeff and Delphine Lovin; brother, Robert Lovin; niece, Brandy Lovin. She is survived by her children, Matthew Bishop (Onita) and Richard Bishop; grandchild, Richard Bishop, Jr.; great granddaughter, Addie Bishop; sister, Joyce McCarter; niece, Valerie McCarter; nephews, Jason and Aaron McCarter; other relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5:00pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. Vonzell Whetsell officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 10:00am at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery John Sevier Highway for a graveside service officiated by Rev. Eddie Myers.
