Dora M. Adams, age 74, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday July 23, 2013. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents Jess and Margaret Strange, infant grandson, John Mark Freeland, Husband Earl Adams. Survived by daughters; Teresa Freeland, Veronica (Dwayne) Fortner, brothers, Roy ”Bud” (Donna) Strange, Hooper (Sue) Strange, Clark (Betsy) Strange, sister and caregiver, Peggy (Roy) Crawford, grandchildren; Trey Childress, Maleah (Jeff) Jones, Lindsey Fortner, DJ Fortner, Riley Freeland, special little friend Travis. Funeral service 8pm Thursday, Rev. Dwayne Fortner officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:30pm Friday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel to proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 2pm. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
