Donnie Earl "Jug" May

Donnie Earl “Jug” May, age 70 of Maynardville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 11, 2026. Born August 23, 1956 He was affectionately known as “Jug”. He has found peace after a courageous battle with cancer. He dearly missed the family that had gone before him but now been reunited with them face to face. Donnie worked in construction and landscaping. He enjoyed working on old cars and sitting in his yard with friends during his spare time. He will be remembered for his kind heart and love for his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Basil May and mother Eva Jean May and sister Sandra Lane Waggoner.

His survivors include His brother, Roy (Susan) May; sisters, Vickie (Mark) Gayle and Angie (Kent) Burkhart as well as several nieces and nephews .He will be missed by family and friends.

Family and friends will meet at 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday October 14, 2026 at Ft. Sumter Community Cemetery for an 11:00 A.M. Graveside service
