Donald Roy Lucas, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 26, 1942, to the late Clarence Edward and Mabel Lucille (Gill) Lucas, in Memphis.
Donald initially worked as an electrician by trade for a variety of contractors and Schlitz Brewing Company. After returning to college and earning an associate of science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology he worked as a civilian employee for Ft. Benning Army Base, Tyndall Air Force Base, and the Naval Coastal Systems Station in Panama City, FL, where he retired.
His hobbies included fishing, going to the beach, building custom dollhouses, and reading Steven King novels.
