Derrick Lee Maples

It is with deepest sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Derrick Lee Maples of Knoxville on January 10, 2022, at the age of 42 years young. Derrick was good for keeping himself busy. He worked a lot but loved to tinker more! He loved his kids and tried to do all he could for all 4 of them. Derrick was a husband and provider. Derrick will be lovingly remembered by his children: Jordan, Bailey (Maddie), Aaliyah, and Andrew Maples. He will also be missed by his brother: Jonathan (Miranda) Maples. His Mother: Georgia (Jimmy) Smoot and special friends: Diane (Rob) and Samantha Roberts, and numerous other family members and friends. Derrick was predeceased by his father Curtis Lee Maples and grandparents. A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 3:30pm at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
