Denzil Leon Jones

Denzil "Dan" Leon Jones, Powell, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, after battling cancer for several years. He attended Bell’s Campground Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by mother, Lorraine Jones Poole and father, A.D. Jones; brother, Jake Poole.

Survived by wife, Joy Fraker Jones; children, Lesa Evans (Kenny), Denzil Jones, Todd Jones; brother, Aubrey Jones; stepsons, Mark Fraker (Susie) and Jeffrey Fraker; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 3:00pm with Pastor Keith Tillman officiating. Following the funeral service, family and friends will go in procession to Glenwood Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Denzil Jones, Todd Jones, Mark Fraker, Jeffrey Fraker, Nick Fraker, Tanner Hiles and Terry Blevins.
