Delories Ann Savage

Delories Savage, devoted wife and true constant for her family, passed away the afternoon of August 8, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 11, 1948, and was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; her parents, Chester Hodsden Sr. and Mattie; brothers, Terry, Lawrence, Billy, Ernie, and Chester Jr.; and sister, Diane Pace.

Delories is survived by her two children, Lisa (husband Garry) and Denny (wife Cathy), and four grandchildren: Josh (wife Kristy), Amber (husband Weston), Travis (partner Aubrey), and Bethany. She was also a loving great-grandmother to River and Summer, and is survived by her brother, Tommy Hodsden.

Delories was known for the love she shared with her husband, Dennis, of 56 years. Family was the center of their life together, and she was forever within arm’s reach to support each and every person she considered family. She carried so much joy and never missed a reason to laugh.

Her absence from this world will be deeply missed by co-workers, church friends, family, and anyone who was blessed to share a moment with her. She was our kind of woman, and we were her kind of family.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Wednsday, August 12, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Funeral service will follow with Kemp Wynn officiating. Interment will follow the service at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
