Deena Rains Monday

Deena Monday, age 66 of Powell, TN passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Deena was a member of Inskip Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geneva and Roy Rains.

Deena is survived by her husband, Chris Monday; son, Dusty Sharpe (Jesika Norman); daughter, Alisha Marie Monday (Gabe Richards); and granddaughters, Chloe, Dakota, Alexus.

Deena was a wonderful mother, wife, and daughter. She was a strong believer in growing and raising her own food. She took great pride in educating not only herself but others about natural remedies, canning, and nourishing your own body organically.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00pm with a funeral service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home-Powell Chapel with Mike Segers officiating. Family and friends will meet up at 10:45am on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Berry Lynn Hurst Cemetery for an 11:00am interment service.
