Debra Michelle Sands

Debra Michelle Sands (Debbie), age 64, of Karns, Tennessee, went home to be with our Lord on August 1, 2025. Debbie was of the Baptist faith and a sweet, loving person. She loved spending time with her loved ones. She took great pride in her family. Debbie loved anything with elephants and cold Dr. Pepper. She was an avid book collector and enjoyed reading.

She is preceded in death by her son, Davo Appling and father, Charles Sands. She is survived by her daughter Danielle (Chris) Bowman; grandchildren, Lexi Jackson, Dekota Jackson, and Shaylyn Jackson, Kallie Disney, Makiya Martin and Jozion Martin, Kaynan Bowman, and Cameron Milligan; mother Etta Sands; brothers, Robbie (Kathy) Sands, Chuck (Tammy) Sands, Tim (Sharon) Sands, “Sister” Nancy Jones; Bonus daughter Briana Nichole Merriman, and many, many nieces nephews, extended family and friends.

A service will be held at Spring Hill Baptist Church on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 6pm.
