Debra Mae Lester

Debra Mae Lester, age 58 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 6, 2024. She attended Sunlight Baptist Church and was a loving wife and mother. Debra was preceded in death by her father P.L. Sanders; step dad Sam Samaniego; brothers Prentiss Hatmaker and Terry Sanders. She is survived by her husband of 32 years Dennis Lester; mother Shirley Samaniego; children Jason Tilson, Melanie Hammitt, Jennifer Hammitt, Stephanie Hounchell, Alexis Lester and Javoena Mouledon; and special niece Kayla Hatmaker. Receiving of friends will be 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with funeral service following. Pastor William Lester will be officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Lynnhurst Cemetery, for an 11:00am interment.
