Debra Kay Elliott

Debra Kay Elliott (Debbie), age 56, of Powell, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. We whole heartedly believe she shed her wheelchair and ran into her mommas' arms.

Debbie was always the one to go to when we needed a listening ear, compassion, something to eat, and always extra love. She took after her mom in that sense and with that we know she took honor in. Whatever and whoever needed, she had it or would make a way and have it ready by the time you got there. She was a huge Tennessee Vols fan, and never missed a game. Debbie will be so indescribably missed. We find happiness in knowing she is free from pain and is celebrating in her forever home with the Great Lord above.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Betty Williams and Carl Elliott Sr.; Brother and sister, Ronnie and Ginger Elliott; Pappy, Lynn Blair; Nephew, Gary Miller; and great nephew, JJ Huggins.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Nikki) Elliott-Hess (James); Her grandchildren, Allison and John Hess; Brothers and sisters, Carl Elliott Jr.(Candy), Rebecca Elliott, Tony Elliott(Jamie); Nieces and nephews, Angel Elliott-Kline(Brendan), Amy Merrick(Brian), Michael Goins(Lisa), Victoria Mansfield(John), Jake Elliott, George Elliott, Rachel Elliott, Nathan Elliott, and Mo Elliott. Special friend, Angie Smith. She also leaves behind several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Brickyard Baptist Church from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00pm with Rev. Carl Elliott, Jr. officiating. Graveside service will take place following the funeral service at Bells Campground Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Michael Goins, Ethan Goins, Brendan Kline, Brian Merrick, Nathan Elliott, Jake Elliott, George Elliott, and Mo Elliott.
